Friday, April 6, 2012 at 02:06PM I just finished this tee design for A Lot Like Birds while listening to their album Conversation Piece. They have a truly unique sound which is an awesome post-hardcore meld of various influences and instrumentation. I felt that I could go in a more fantastic direction with the design, and who doesn't relate to this head-on-stake wielding monster, when it comes to seeing figures in the clouds?

This talented trio is on tour with a very limited run of hoodies designed and printed by yours truly, based on the album artwork by drummer Devin Drobka. I also screen printed Devin's album art on their run of 200 CD's and arigato paks; the paks are becoming somewhat of a signature for saxophonist, friend, and frequent collaborator Patrick Breiner's projects.
Friday, February 3, 2012 at 01:52PM This is the 2nd time I have designed and printed Arigato Pak templates from Stumptown Printers for one of Patrick Breiner's projects. This Vartan Mamigonian album was originally released as a fundraiser for Stumpfest 2010, an improvised music festival presented by Surrounded By Reality. Patrick requested that the design extend in a single/continuous image to the entire visible area and include an insert, so I came up with this little bullfight scene.
