THE LONDON SOULS

I designed this a while ago and finally got to print recently as part of The London Souls' merch group. In addition to the light gray tees I also printed up some ash gray/white striped racerback dresses and v-neck tees. The Souls play a ton around New York and if you haven't gone to see one of their shows, get out to one of them the next time you're hankering for damn good live rock n' roll.

ABBY PAYNE

Check out Abby Payne's music video The Prophet, shot and edited by the talented photographer and videographer Elizabeth Leitzell. After having had the pleasure of designing Abby's EP album Sasquatch, Abby asked me to collaborate on the video by designing sets and animating portions of Elizabeth's footage. Using mixed media materials and LED blinky lighting designed by Todd Polenberg and Jason Cipriani, I was able to composite illustrated and 3D imagery in Aftereffects to produce some awesomely strange environments.

Premoticon

Patrick Breiner of Sulde Records has been hitting me up for design work on his many projects, including his awesome trio Premoticon, for which I designed and screened this 2-color album cover sleeve. The only prompt Patrick gave me was the comment: "Premoticon - it kindof reminds me of emoticon- like Optimus Prime bit with your crazy organic twist to it." The sleeve folds into a simple holder with a foldover flap - an elegant template that I will surely use again from Portland-based Stumptown Printers

Bleeding Hearts

Curtis Peel of the band Futurist organized a successful Kickstarter album release event called Bleeding Hearts, which I had the pleasure of designing and printing posters for, as well as live printing at the event. In addition to this 2 color square poster (echoing the size of a 12 inch vinyl) I made a custom live printing image for the table, manned by myself and Matt Sykes of Werdink. The Bleeding Hearts event was a blast, with several live bands, multiple art and sound installations, and some interactive displays and performances.
