Connie enjoys picking up whatever is lying around nearby and making it into things- a habit she has maintained ever since she was born in Binghamton, New York, 1985. These are some relics of her youth: cds and tapes which she and her sister Clare created for their elaborate stuffed animal kingdom in the early 90's.

While attending St. Paul's boarding high school in Concord, New Hampshire, Connie began taking art classes and making clothes. This trend c
ontinued into her college years where she traveled abroad to learn screen printing at Central St. Martins in London and earned her degree in fashion design at Parsons School of Design in New York.

After graduating, Connie moved to Bushwick, Brooklyn, where she has set up shop as iconartistry at HQ. HQ is a shared space- in addition to Connie's design/screen printing iconartistry studio, HQ also houses Tara McManus's 3rd Earth Fireproof sewing studio, a basement practice studio, and an outdoor backyard space The Floasis, which is dedicated to nurturing flow arts and fire dancing. Connie regularly collaborates with her fellow HQ mates and greater Brooklyn community in various projects and can be found designing, illustrating, screen printing, playing music, and fire dancing on any given day.
