The Agnostic Science Reading Room, a collaboration between Iconartistry, Phil Hollenbeck, and Mark Krawczuk, was a 2009 Burning Man project. The reading room space was situated within a shade structure, complete with a screen printed table, intricately stenciled shadecloth walls, stenciled lamps, a stenciled sign, a newspaper stand, chairs, rocking chairs, and bookshelves. Patrons of the Reading Room could browse books and newspapers while helping themselves to sun-brewed lemonade. Iconartistry contributed painted stencil work to the structure walls as well as the custom furniture made by Phil Hollenbeck, and both Iconartistrty and Phil designed and printed the table, which can now be seen at Shanghai Mermaid. The Reading Room was housed at Camp Image Node at the corner of 9:30 and A in Black Rock City.
